​Cristina Pata​ graduated in Cinematography and Arts Studies at the European Institute of Cinema and audiovisual (IECA) in France.

​

During this period she produced the Aye Aye Film Festival in Nancy. 

Her graduation thesis focused on the “Interactions of the human body with technologie” in relation with David’s Cronenberg Existenz.

 

Between 2003 and 2005 lived in Japan, participating as editor for the trailers of the Aichi Women’s Film Festival in Nagoya.

She directed 3 short films during that period, Perspectivas, DiaID and Click.


All works based in Human behavior and body language and it’s interaction with the surroundings.


She continued her studies in France where she acquired a Master degree in Interactive and numerical Images at the University Henry Poincare - Nancy 2.


Cristina has been working as director/editor, motion/graphic designer since then.
